Feeling fishy

Couple of nice rainbows, resting while the smoker comes up to temp of 220



Chopped up red, yellow bell pepper and onion.  Stuffed, seasoned a little lemon juice and buried off to the smoker



After 3 hours of smoke

OK WTS - when did they install trout water your way?  Or did they come in on one of them big irrigation crop circle thingies?

Reminds me of my tight Wrangler, big belt buckle, bigger hat, laced belt with my name on the back, and riding heels days at school.  Certain girl I liked to impress by taking her to the lake and telling/bragging that I would catch and cook our dinner.  It would only work in the spring when the lake was very high (almost guarantee a fish or two among the underwater picnic tables, or a white bass or two below the dam).  Breakout my foil, collect some wood, and cook those fish up in peppers, onions, lemons and lots of butter.  She WAS impressed! And that didn't happen for me much!
