tinger82,
welcome to the forum.
my first GB jerky was with open country variety pack.
hot and spicy, original, and teriyaki.
the hot and spicy being the best of the three.
the kit includes seasonings and cure for 1LB measurements.
very simple to use.
there will be others along shortly with many other suggestions.
all of them really good!
again welcome and remember to post pics if possible.

Some people are like Slinkies... They're really good for nothing.
...But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Best recommendation I can give is a Fella that runs around here named NEPA Smoker Nepas for short. He is the jerky and snack stix guru these days. He's a hell of a nice guy to boot.
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!
