Hi All.

Just got our first smoker and am looking forward to using it often. Any and all tips welcome as this is new to us.

Welcome to the place where you can smoke and learn! Nothing will substitute some quality time browsing our forum and our recipe site for the things that you might like to do.
What smoker did you purchase?

Welcome to the board John.  This is a great place to learn.  The Journey to Smokey Perfection is a lifelong pursuit, best shared with friends!  As Tom Hanks so eloquently stated that there is no crying in baseball - let me state that there are no rules in smoking.  If you want to marinate in raspberry koolaid and garlic - go ahead - and if you like it all the better.  Sharing is what it is all about - we learn from one another.

Welcome to the forum.  Start with something easy like pulled pork and work your way up.  Biggest pointer I can give is have patience.  the BS can not be rushed.

Welcome. 

I suggest trying some mushroom bombs and ABT's (Atomic Buffalo Turds), that should get you hooked pretty quick.  Oh and ask a lot of questions and take a lot of pictures.
