Title: Up-in-Smoke
Post by: Wildcat on November 30, 2015, 04:53:41 PM
Jerry,

Finally got around to eating some of your pulled pork that you gave us after our visit. Simply devine. I want your rub recipe.

I really enjoyed our meeting and wish we could have connected a couple of years back when you lived in beautiful North Georgia.

I found we still have 2 small jars of Linda's internationally famous (thanks to Iceman) Carrot Cake preserves. If you want I can wait until you are scheduled to return home before sending to insure that you get some. ;D

Rick,
I enjoyed meeting you and the boss ( and pooches ) as well.
I am glad you enjoyed the pork.....did the boss let you  have enough or did she stash a little extra for herself??

The spot you  had at the lake was beautiful. cannot imagine too many places in the jasper/Ellijay area that would be better.

Glad that y'all made it home safe, and hope that you  had a great thanksgiving.

As far as the preserves.....they should be safe if you want to go ahead and send  them. i am looking forward to breakfast when i get back!

will pm you in a couple of days.  ;)

There was enough there for two meals each. Will have left over pp tomorrow. Tastes just as good with sauce as without. Real nice smoke favor. I would guess pecan. You really did a great job!
