Title: Last nights dinner
Post by: StickyDan on June 23, 2010, 12:30:17 PM
I cold smoked a ribeye along with some asparagus for 1:20 using cherry.  I totally forgot about the corn till the last 20 minutes of smoke so I threw it in anyways.  Went from the smoker to the grill.  The smoked asparagus was a pleasant surprise.  Had a nice flavor although a bit on the strong side.  The rib eye of course was great.  The corn had a slight smoke flavor but not enough for me.  Next time, I think I'll leave the corn and asparagus in for only 40 min of smoke. The one on the right has a portabella mushroom for wifey.

Looks good SD.  Wifey isn't a meat eater, huh?  A nicely grilled portabella comes pretty close to the texture of real tender beef.  I love 'em.  But, of course, I want my beef too  ;D

No meat for wifey. :-X  That's ok, more for me!
The mushrooms are pretty meaty.  Make a nice burger too.
