Garlic (cloves and heads)
Cheese. kraft singles and local cave aged cheddar. The singles were terrible.
onions
salt
sugar
black peppercorns
salmon
hard boiled eggs. Yeah i know the shells are on a couple of them. We were pretty hammered and my buddies were not hearing logic.
Now the best one. I cracked open an egg, put it on a foil "plate" and let it smoke for about 30 to 40 min. Then I fried it up over easy. It was the best damn egg I've ever eaten. Smoked eggs. Obviously you need to be careful with this one and not get sick, but I wasn't too worried about it.
I actually did consider smoking some beer but forgot.

Some pretty good stuff comes from times like these. More often than not nothing is wrote down and no pictures were ever took.

Yeah this is true., does anyone really think Ben Franklin was sober when he was flying his kite in a thunderstorm? ::)

Yeah, luckily i've gotten in the habit of taking pictures and posting results. Otherwise I'd never remember what I did. as soon as my buddy mentioned smoking eggs, the first thing I thought of was sharing it with the cold smoke forum. I figured good or bad, it's something i haven't seen before. I just did a quick search on this site and found a couple of posts on smoked eggs, including one where Chez Bubba said he smokes his eggs for 1.5 hours prior to making deviled eggs. Now
that sounds good.
When I saw the comment of beer, buddies, and lack of logic it made remember (hazily) an evening many years ago; it made me smile.
However, as a word of caution. It is not possible to get drunk enough for a steak marinated in vanilla extract to taste good. I'm just sayin....
Must've been a really good time. ;)
I'm told it was! Except for the steak.

A few more beers and maybe we would have gotten to that. We also had cheese steaks and (store bought) keilbasa for lunch and steaks for dinner. I should have cold smoked the steaks but I was gettin lazy at that point. You know it was a fun night when you see the gas can near the fire pit and think, "maybe I shouldn't have left that there ... or used that to light the fire."
I got me a margarita machine today and I see whats in my future. ::)

That's a coincidence. When I drink a lot of margaritas I see into the future also, among other things. ;D
