A sad sight indeed. Too bad some of those graves don't contain the idiots who start those things in the first place....Now that would bring us lasting peace!

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

John Stuart Mill
English economist & philosopher (1806 - 1873)

"This is a righteous cause so without doubt or pause
I will do what my country asks of me
Make any sacrifice
We'll pay whatever price
So the children of tomorrow can be free
Lead on red, white and blue
And we will follow you until we win the final victory
God help us do our best we will not slack or rest
Till the last fallen hero rests in peace"

Charlie Daniels - The Last Fallen Hero

Couldn't have said it better myself...especially when I'm watching CNN and I see what the kids in my old home town of Spring, TX did recently...absolutely sickening.
