I'm new to forums and computers and wonder how I can get some recipes for deer snack stix and ground deer jerky. How, for example' would I get some of NePaSmoker's recipes in particular as he is referenced repeatedly. I have been wandering around the forum but there are too many entries for me to read them all. I am not interested in pre packaged commercial mixes as they cost a lot. Thanks in advance for any help I get.    Barnhart Kid.

Try the "Sausage" section and "Jerky" section of this Forum and take the time to read the entries.  There are plenty of recipes there including many from NePaS and several other great stick, jerky and sausage makers.

Everybody and especially Mike:
Thanks so much. I was unaware of the recipe site and Mike kindly provided the link. Exactly what I wanted and I will continue to search this site also. Big learning curve with my new Bradley, but I am having a lot of fun. I feel I am somewhat experienced because of this forum and have learned a bunch of do and don't do's just by reading up here.

I am experimenting with these recipes and when we have the exact flavor we want, bang, 50 pounds of deer smokies and jerky. Will do photos then and share the pain or success.

Welcome Kid!  You've stumbled on a really great forum here.  I'm relatively new to it and have found that the folks here are really helpful, willing to share all sorts of advice and even their best recipes.  They also post a lot (I won't say all ::))  of their mistakes so you l learn a LOT from reading those.  Suggest you find time to settle back in your chair and cruise around reading various posts in the different sections so that you'll get a good feel for it and where to look for stuff.  And when you have a question, just ask!
