CRG,
It's really good.  Don't give in to temptation.  When you take it out of the smoker, put it in a ziplock bag.  Seal it and wait until tomorrow to eat it.  The smoke penetration really kicks in while in the bag overnight.

Rick,
Earlier today I told CRG that he wasn't quite right and he acknowledged that to be true.  I'm pretty sure we're going to have to join that club as well.  We're smoking party mix for God's sake! :D :D :D

Love that stuff!

I couldn't find any of that cloth so I just used a single layer of paper towels.

The pkg made 3 trays. I smoked it w/no heat and for 40 minutes with Hickory.

Now I have to wait for tomorrow. It filled a gallon bag to the top.

CRG,
In my opinion, this has to be one of the most ridiculous smoking things I have ever done but OMG I love it.  I hope it comes out to your taste as well.  If it does, it's my idea.  If it doesn't I can't believe you followed NePaS advice. :D :D

Thank NePas.  I think he may have done it first and I kinda forgot about it.  The first smoke on the MAK was going on and Jan had made a kick butt recipe of party mix and I thought "ok, let's see about that cold smoke chamber on this MAK".  If it wasn't good I hadn't ruined anythind but cereal, nuts, pretzels, etc.  Well........Jan has had to make another batch.  That makes 2 2.5 gallon bags of party mix.

What's next CRG?

KyNola

Merry Christmas brother.

Got two beef roast in the Bradley as we speak, 12 links of Boudain.

Tomorrow a boneless stuffed turkey breast and a 18lber in the "other" smoker.

Chicken legs and thighs (might Charcoal them)

Gonna make t2's oyster stuffing.

wts smoked pork egg rolls and do them in the "other" smoker instead of deep fry.

What "other" smoker?  You have 10 other smokers for God's sake! :D If you're referring to your Traeger, that's not just "another" smoker.  Traeger's ROCK.

Wish we could get some good Boudain up this way.

What are you stuffing that boneless turkey breast with?  I love those things.  They are like a blank canvas.  You can flavor them however you like and it's gonna turn out good.

I re use it cuz its a cold smoke and no moisture.

I wasn't sure if the smoke flavor used last would affect the currently being smoked item.
