Title: Cant get my smoker above 120

Hey Everyone,

First time using my electric smoker(it has been used before by someone else) and I cant get it above 120? I have read that sometimes if its cold out it has troubles getting up to temp but its summer does anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like the only heat source working is the smoke generator burner plate.  Check the heating element in the tower.  If it is not glowing red it is not functioning.  Check the power cord that runs from the smoke generator over to the tower.  Make sure it is firmly plugged in at both ends.  Sometimes they need a firm push to make good contact.
