Whats the story on the PID?? Does it give a lot of bang for the buck??
Ive already seen them, and of course I WANT one - mostly since Im an Instrument Tech by trade. Whats cooler than having tight control on the temp??
Heck, you can probably build your own.. Others can give a better description of it than I can.
I think there are PID plans on the recipe site.
I just have a simple Ranco temperature controller. It's just a big thermostat, nothing fancy.

Yeah, Ive already been by that tread. Looks good but Im not sure id know what temps to set it at.
The Auburn (SP) PID controller looks more like a plug and play deal.
Yeah Evil that is the one I'm going to get.

I see why people make the holders for the peppers - if you dont have one - the filling falls out !!! As luck would have it, I have a couple of chunks of stainless steel at work that theyll never miss.... ;)
BTW, anyone know what those orange sticks are by the ribs?? I have no idea where they came from.

Walmart sells this on internet with the corer for $10 free site to store shipping. by King Kooker holds 30 of them bad boys.

Unfortunately, Walmart in the US and Walmart in Canada are very different things. Thanks for the heads up - I will have a look tomorrow but Im am pretty sure it wont be available. We get gipped in Canada. Yeah, $10 is a whole lot better than making one.
Is not in store .... on the net Walmart.com with that www thingie in front
