I had extensive ankle surgery on September 3. I finally got off of crutches Friday November 5 and will be in physical therapy until at least December. Could not smoke (luckily I had plenty stored in the freezer) or do hardly anything during that period. Did some internet research and decided to trade my old 5th Wheel for this: http://carpenterscampers.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=inventorynew.viewItem&item_id=842&cat_id=41

I pick it up next week and since it is sold (to me) the link may not stay active long.

Now I am off to PT and then to Sam's to look for some butt.

Nice looking rig.  What kind of truck do you pull that with?  I don't think my F-150 Lariat would handle that baby.

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

Thats one heck of a rig!  So are you going to bring it to the FLA Smoke Out II?
Is it bad if my wife refers to the smoker as "The Mistress"?

Thanks all. We like it. A lot more than we wanted to part with, but you only live once and my daughter has enough resource to take care of herself, so I guess I will just spend her inheritance.

My wife and I avoid hotels and motels like the plague. With an RV you know who sleeps in the bed, who sits on the toilet, and who cleans the place.

RAM 3500. This unit only weighs about 3,000 lbs more than the one I traded in.

This is our 3rd one. Our first one was 27 ft. They are all great. We will be spending more time in ours, so comfort on longer trips comes into play.

Probably next to the grill in the basement.

I hope to make the next one. Depends on when it gets scheduled and where. This new unit is 38.5 feet and takes up a lot of room. Also my truck is the longest that Dodge makes in this class, so manuever room must also be there. Simply could not this last time due to not only when it took place, but also my surgery.

Maybe you'll feel good enough to come to the TSO.

I'll make sure it's held at a place that you can get into.

Wildcat

I'd love to make it. We will see how the scheduling and everything else goes.
