Saw this at lunch time.   VW bug, driving on a donut, pulling a trailer full of drywall..

(through holiday shopping traffic near the mall)

I hope its not that Chinese drywall.

That stuff is NASTY!

Wow, that's one heck of a doughnut, with the way that VW is sagging I'm surprised it didn't pop like a balloon.
Rodney Dangerfield got his material from watching me.

Maybe it is a regular tire and he just lost the hubcap...

Anyway, he didn't look like a happy camper

How long you think the engine will last pulling them kinda loads?

I didn't know you could put a trailer hitch on a bug.

LOL... Did anybody ever play "Beaver Cleaver" riding down the highway?

Good thing it is as flat as a pancake around here.  He'd never get up a hill.

Hey Squirt I swear I saw that same bug, without the spare, pulling the same trailer loaded about 5 ft high and tarped on Hwy 55 between Springfield and Bloomington a few months ago....I so wished I had a camera with me, I was shocked.  I wonder if its the same one?

I bet it is.   I don't think it was a spare, when I looked at the hires version of the pic, he was just missing the hubcap...

He's nuts for driving it around Springfield loaded down like that - but on I-55???    He's cruising for a ticket. (if not a terrible wreck)

I never have seen a VW with enough CHONES to pull anything  :D

Here is a little bigger version of the pic.   Looks like the back bumper has gotten some love, and check out the trailer hitch.   Scary.

Maybe that's not drywall...  Looks like a ton of cr@p, nevertheless.

You guys must not live near I-10, this is an everyday occurrence heading west. One car pulling another, pulling another. One even had a sign that said "In Toe"
The fight isn't over until the winner says it is.
