My puck advance wont move please help :'(
Do you hear anything like a click when you push the button?
I would probably take apart the Smoke Generatoe (SG) and check for loose wires.
how do i do that? there are alot of screws.
with a screwdriver.....Sorry I couldnt help myself.
On the bottom of the SG:
Do not take out the ones in the center, they hold the guts of the SG together.
You should see screws around the perimeter. Take those out and it will kinda clamshell apart.
It goes without saying but unplug it first. :D
thanks ill try that and get back to you
I would probably give Bradley support a call they will help you figure it out.
took it apart lots of wood lest see what happens when we plug it in.
I blow and shake mine out after every smoke.
no go >:( called bradley support they are sending me a new sg for $40 (it has a scratch on it) or $80 for a pristene one i chose the $40 one. so for today ill have to manuelly do smoke boo!
Boo indeed....
Keep the old one around for spare parts.
Gee Happy, hope you're not doing a 4 hour smoke >:(

Just move your adultry beverages out to the Bradley and a timer and you are good to go.
Can't keep a good man down!
The puck advance was acting up on my OBS. The problem was the motor. Gears got stripped when a puck got jambed. Bought a new motor from Bradley for $10 and it works like a charm. When you have the generator apart check to see if it makes any noise when you push the advance button. To do this you'll need to leave it plugged in so be careful what you touch or you'll end up with curly hair ;). If that's the problem, get another motor and you'll have 2 SG's.
Bummer to here about your SG Happy.
The folks at Bradley couldnt come up with a fix?
Other than gettin a new SG.
thats what she said. She asked if the button made noise I said no she said you need a new sg. For $40 bucks I'm not tripping I got my money's worth out of the current one.

Timer - 1 puck = 1 beer.
now that is a way to make this fun.
Timer - 1 puck = 1 shot. ;D
I just might go out back and make sure I am getting a shot at the proper interval! Good Idea.

Just a word of caution.
You are entering the "Butt Stall" era of a Bst Butt.
This si the time the magic happens.
Fat is broken down into moisture.
You will have have a stall in your IT and maybe a decline in the IT.
Is all good.
Let it roll.
Could last from 1 hr to 3 hrs or more.
Butt the IT will start climbing again.
Thats good to here your SG fixed its self, now you have a spare for the next time the SG messes with ya.
Is the pork done yet, is it done, is it done?
