Anybody have a tried and tested recipe/marinade for garlic jerky? I am craving some and have 6.5 lbs of round to strip. Any insight would be much appreciated!

I made some jerky with a mix that had lots of garlic in it and to be honest for my taste a heavy garlic taste just did not work for jerky. I love it in sausage but when dried it got too intense.
