Warren Sapp questioned the one guy as to wht he presented his pork sliced,
butt when Moe did his like that, he said that was exactly what he was looking for.

I was hoping it was going to be like the old format. Not sure if I like the new format??? I like seeing Sapp on the show. GO BUCS!

I agree. The challenge was pulled pork and not sliced. Mryon even mentioned it while the boys where judging.
And whats the big deal about the propane. It was just catfish not the main entry. She still fried the fish anyways.

Warren Sapp was referring to the taste not the presentation. Was Big Moe not on Diners ,Drive-In's and Dives once. He looks familiar.

If you have DirecTV just schedule the recording from their website. You don't even have to leave your computer.

According to the previews, it looks like one of the surprises will be alligator.
Gator tastes like chicken, i think that they are trying to fill in the hour with content. Otherwise we would be watchin them sit around and drink beer waiting for the food to cook.

In the past I have only seen two episodes, so I was pleasantly surprise to read in the local Sunday paper that the creator of this show John Markus only lives 12 – 15 miles from me. On Saturday August 28th, I may get a chance to sample some of his Que; if I can get a ticket. He volunteered to be the pit master for his town's 4th Annual Barbecue/Community Day. It wasn't clear if any of his team will be with him. He competes on the New England circuit with his team; "Central Pork West."

That would be a fun event to attend. I would be calling in all my IOU's to get tickets.
If he's not bringing his team, maybe you can help him cook. Now that would be a blast!

Seem like I can only order by mail. No tickets are being sold at the local stores. I sent my request out yesterday, so I'm hoping there are still tickets left.

I am not a huge fan of the new format either. I liked seeing the teams compete at different competitions around the country. I am going to give it one more chance. I hope they go back to the way they had it.
