Just wondering if anyone has found success (or failure) by using 2 " aluminum pipe cut to 5/8" lengths to get the job done, instead of the commercial product.
Currently I just eat the cost of 2-3 pucks at the end of each smoke project.
Yep - been talked about many times. I found some scrap pipe at work and had a pipefitter cut it for me to the proper thickness. I beveled the edges so the rings would slide easier and they work fine.

As stated before, yes you can make your own or buy them. 3 pucks is
An hour worth of smoke. That adds up quick. Just saying. :)

Hey Devo, I think that SG is going to have a negative effect on the performance of your microwave. You shoulda asked someone about it first. ;)
Devo, can you still make microwave popcorn in that thing? ;D
Whooaaah, great idea. Smoked popcorn!
As funny as it looks it does a great job on cold smoking and it was free.....I like free ;)
