I haven't seen anyone talking about Turkey Tenderloins so i wanted to share my experience. I marinated them over night in garlic infused EVOO, sea salt, black pepper, dried rosemary, dried thyme and onion powder. Let them rest for a few hours prior to smoking. Preheated my Bradley Digital to 200 smoked for 90min with apple and cooked them for another 90min @ 210 (3 Hours total). Let them rest for 30min and they were Awesome! Check out the pics.
Very nice VERY .I love turkey and that looks great.
Good job ahron. Those look perfectly cooked.
But what is the cut of meat - boneless half-breasts?
They are tenderloins from the breast meat. They are about 16oz to 20 oz each. I bought them at Trader Joes but have seen them in the regular market as well.
They look really good, moist as well by the looks of things? :)
They were even moist 2 days later cold ;D (i made 8 of them) I usually brine turkey but didn't have the time, i cant wait to do it again with a basic brine.
Ahron,
If they taste half as good as they look , they are fit for a King.
