Title: Smke generator adaptor
Post by: georgeamer on August 22, 2009, 12:38:52 PM
I want to adapt the Smoke Generator to an old smoke house.
I would life to have the generator about 3 feet from the smoke house and drop the spent bisquettes outside of the smoke house?
Any help on how to do this?

Hi there goergeamer and welcome to the forum,

if you check out the Bradley's site you would see a "Cold smoke adaptor" that is available for purchase. It consists of a box where you would insert you smoke generator on one side with a hole on top that is connected to you smoke house through a flexible hose similar to those on your washing machine. This will not only help you achieve what you want but you can have two more advantages;

- you can cold smoke your cheese, salmon..etc where heat is not wanted
- you can also burn regular wood in the box and allow the smoke to drift into your smoke house.

Look at the post in the General discussions on show yer smokers. I am building a large smokehouse that will have the OBS and BPS generators hooked too.
