Just pulled the trigger on a OBS which should arrive in two days. That will give me some time to figure out how to explain the big box delivery to the wife ;D Also, ordered the Auber Dual probe PID based on the many suggestions here in the forum. Looking forward to learning and smoking.

This is easy...well it will take a little research on your part to find a recipe your sure your wife will love and once she taste it and didn't have to cook it you will be the man! So the more often you can provide food without having to heat up the kitchen the more toys tools you can buy! Good luck!

I sure do. I ordered it from amazon on Monday with two day delivery, and it showed up YESTERDAY ;D. Oh well. My saving grace is that she had a package from amazon (a lamp) show up on Monday, that I wasn't aware of. I had hoped to give it the one hour seasoning run today, but it looks like rain all day.
