In honor of 10.5 especially, but for all you bacon lovers - a bacon cabin. Couldn't do this while momma was home. - she just wouldn't understand!!! ;) However, when she got in on Sunday night, she said the house smelled good! Here is what $50 of bacon will get you. The lessons learned weaving potholders for my mom when I was just a Wee Caney sure came in handy! I've build a lot of building, but nothing quite like this! Sorta Dali-esque, but the stuff shrinks 30% sometimes less sometimes more!!
No foo-foo gingerbread houses allowed on the Bradley Forum!! ;D ;D Gotta be pork fat!

Very Nice Caney!
Looks like you also used the skills of "Lincoln Logs" playing
from the Wee Caney days.
Nicely done.

Awrighten.
I LOVE IT!!!!! Bacon Bacon Bacon That's off the hook Caney
really well done, when can I expect it to arrive? ??? ;) ;D
That's cool Caney! Did you use slim jims for the posts?
The posts are a cousin to the Slim Jims.
Pens, wish I could ship it! But, I found out that crisp bacon is not structurally sound. >:( >:(
Was gonna do this in Phases. Phase one is what you see. Gonna take apart, and freeze it. Phase 2 would be making base, sidewalks, and driveway of sausage and add a rail to the front porch. Phase three would be Landscaping. Didn't last past Phase one. Surprisingly the large roof panels were the weak link.
Caney you are one crazy individual. No wonder you fit in here so well. That is just awesome. Who needs a hobby when they have BACON.
Caney, I'll come to your cabin anytime ;D ;D
Wow Caney! Superb!
Don't worry about structural integrity, just ship the pieces and I'll take care of the rest. ;D
Holy crap that thing is awesome. Now I know what kind of cake I want for my birthday.
May I suggest building some roof trusses out of slim jims? That oughta hold.
Well, I gotta ask the question everybody is thinking about....
Were you smoking something else beside bacon when you came up with the idea??
Very cool !!!
Caney, from Aggie to another, you are a sick man. I love it!

Yeh, I was kinda wishing I had my gall bladder back!
You know that wonder smell of bacon cooking. It's amazing after 8 hours of cooking bacon - it sorta goes away!!!
