Title: Country of Domicile
Post by: Boybach on April 13, 2007, 08:15:25 AM
Hi chaps
could we perhaps ask all members to fill in their location? I don't mean full address but just City, or even just Country.
That way when questions 'where'e the best place to buy etc etc'  come up, then we know where to advise. I'm thinking about the Toby's post today re the Temp slider control. :)

Thanks LoS
Can you tell mw what I've done wrong in Old's request to put the -recipe url- on the signature. Can't find his post and seems I've messed mine up. Tomorrow is the day to show off my OBS cooking to a bunch of sceptics. I guess I feel pretty smug but hope all goes well  ;) ;D

Hi Neil, all you have to do is change these < > for these [ ] so where there is a < delete it and replace with [ and anywhere there is a > replace with a ]

Olds did the code with < > instead of [ ] otherwise instead of members seeing the code, they would have seen the pic of the smoker with the text.

Hope this makes sense? hehe!

I did a a post suggesting copying the code twice into a text editor, so that there is something to check against.

Hope this helps if not give me a shout, and i really hope it all goes well for you tommorow, i'm sure the sceptics will be pleasantly surprised  ;)

That's a good idea Boybach.

The old forum had many faults, but one thing it did was list the person's country of origin under the avatar.

Wood and family are in Delmarva part of the country.  Del = Deleware, Mar = Maryland, Va - Virginia.  Its the penninsula that has all three states together as one lasd mass.  Others call it Chicken farm country USA.  I call it my current Home and only home for my son.

and Boybach, you missed a '>' after 'img' tag

Do you like my new Avtar - they are highly valuable Racing camels on their way to the races in Doha Quater. We came accross them enjoying the scenery as they were driven along on the back of a flat-bed truck. Their lesser bretheren tasted damn good on the BBq we had in the desert and which I reported on earlier
Be Good - all the stuff is ready for the off tonight tonight and the OBS is right there in front of stage. can't wait to see the sceptics turn green with envy

You have misunderstood his signatures; those are for the amusement of humans. He is well beyond that. If you have wormholes through your smoke generators, open those up and you will understand.

I'm new here but for what it's worth.....born in Upsate NY, grew up in Pittsburgh (GO STEELERS!), went to college in Ohio, moved back to NW PA, then to Fredericksburg MD, Minot ND, Kalamazoo MI and currently reside in Elkhart IN.

Wouldn't mind going back to ND (that's where my spousal unit is from) but it's so cold there I get tired of searching for my testicles 6 months out of the year  ;).  If that was too graphic for some, I apologize in advance  ;D

Pace, Florida.  Just a little East and North of Pensacola.  I have camped in the RV on St Georges.  Yes, I have been to the Florabama Lounge.  Really swinging place.  Many bikers.  Got demolished during one of the Hurricanes.  Built another though.  Have not been to the new one.

Good to know they built again!!! What a great concept...well was when I was 18 and they changed the drinking age to 21 in
Florida...I just drank on the Bama side!!! I know where Pace is....

In the past 5 years Pace has grown a lot.  Many folks from Pensacola moved here.  Although not yet incorporated, Pace actually has a larger population than Milton and twice as much business.  Starting to get too crowded for me.

Still haven't built the perfect smoker that I want but getting closer each time. ;)

You are more than welcome anytime Pat (and Ann) but you know that.  ;) :D And whenever you need more kippers just let me know!  ;D

Me? ..... I am Manx through and through and have lived here all my life apart from university in Bristol, England. Not English, Scottish, Irish or Welsh but these nations are our close friends and allies and the Queen has the strange title of "Lord of Mann".

A lot of people with Manx (Isle of Man) roots live in the US and Australia and many make the "pilgrimage" back here.

Harbour view from the village where I live.

Sorry, Ontrack.....you know I had a sneaking feeling that Mizzou and WVU were gonna lose.  In fact, I think it's a conspiracy because the BCS didn't want those two playing for the national champonship.  I can't prove it, but I believe it  ;D

And that still wasn't enough, Acords. They could have flagged both teams for each having 22 men on the field in the fourth quarter. No, wait.. I was seeing double...I was so frustrated I drank MYSELF under the table :(

Niagara peninsula, Ontario, but spent a lot of my youth in the Laurentian mountains or the Gatineau hills, in Quebec, about  1 1/2 hours north of Montreal to half way between Montreal and Ottawa.

Carolinian forests and milder weather is very very nice........  not as much snow to shovel.
