Metal taste in leftovers???

Well no fear of escargot in my Big Easy anytime soon!   ;D        I was always told you need iodine in your body so that's why they used it in salt.

Yes this is true Tommy but we get enough iodized salt in other things that we don't need to cook with it.
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.

And if you think about how brining works, via osmosis, when you use iodized salt you are transferring the iodine from all the salt you used into the food.

We don't use iodized salt for hardly anything anymore - We even use kosher salt at the dinner table.

Same thing at our house, but we use fine ground sea salt. Its the same size as regular table salt.
