Title: Looking for some ideas for venison
Post by: MRH on January 17, 2016, 08:29:40 AM
Been a while since I have been here!
I have  Hot dogs smoking as we speak ;)

I have done all of the usual things..... Salami, hot dogs, brats, polish sausage, bacon, sticks, jerky etc.... Looking for something new to try that people have enjoyed, it doesn't have to be smoked either. I have about 30 lbs ground up left to use.
Any ideas/recipes?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi, Mark.

You can probably come up with all kinds of ideas on the Bradley User Recipe Site (http://www.susanminor.org/forums/).

Hi,Have you tried corning a round roast.I threw a round roast in with a beef roast two weeks ago and we had corned beef (venison) and cabbage. The venison was a bigger hit.Ha Ha.

You could also take that corned venison one step further and make venison pastrami!
