I got this e-mail today and first I thought of Carolyn's kids and then I thought of the rest of you guys. I figure at least one of you will make these at your next BBQ.
Here's a real heart stopper for barbeque season.
Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese,
wrapped in a bacon weave.then the next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs and tail. Next step?
Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at
400 degrees. A little crispy, not too crunchy...just how a turtle
should be, no?

The burgers are cute. Kids will love 'em. And no turtles were harmed in the process.
I can see this as a fun bring along to the neighbors BBQ. What a kick.
