Title: Help with PID
Post by: oldsmoker on April 25, 2009, 08:44:02 PM
Need help on hooking up auber pid. I have a bd6 and a nonprogramble pid. Looked at the manual and did not see any thing about setting temp or about the little cable from the generator to the back of the bradley. All help welcome. Thanks for your help.

I'm assuming you have the "Plug and Play" Auber.

If so, you want to have the tower plugged into the PID and the PID plugged into a wall outlet. In addition you want the smoke generator plugged into a wall outlet as well. The small sensor wire that runs from the generator to the tower must be plugged in for the smoke generator to function correctly.

No, the PID will now be controlling the tower temps so you just set the desired temp on it. You will use the left buttons on the smoke generator to control the generator itself. The right side you leave turned off because it's no longer connected to the tower heating element.
