My sons unit is having some custom made flags for familes of the 504th PIR 82nd AIRBORNE Div made.
He is going to send me one for my flag pole.
Here is what it looks like.

That's a real cool looking flag.
I know I don't have to say this but Display it Proudly Nepa
That looks great, should bring a nice proud smile to your face every time you walk by and see it waving in the wind.
Very cool!
It can't get much cooler then that.
Brad
I like it!! ;)
Ole
Really cool NePaS!! 8) 8) 8)

Very cool NePa. You should run some t-shirts with that logo. I would be interested in a couple. The profits could go to your sons unit jerky fund :)
Cool flag, will it be flying during the smokeout?

Nice
Nepas,
thank you..
thank you for the help you give here
thank you for the help you give our troops
most of all thank you to your children for their service.
Jeez, Nepas - My first company command was B/1/504 back in 70-71 between Vietnam tours.
I remember my battalion commander calling one day and I answered the phone with "Bravo Company, 1st Battalion (Airborne), 504th Infantry, those famed Devils in Baggy Pants of the 82nd Airborne Division, America's Guard of Honor, located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the home of the airborne, Captain Honu speaking, sir." After hearing all that, he forgot what he called to chew me out about.
I don't keep many "souvenirs" of those days but I still have the unit guidon and a hand-carved wooden "pace stick" (with the devil's head at the top) that the company gave me as a going-away present.

I will tell him about you being in the 504. He has been there now for 4.5 years now, going to make a career but he does want Ranger or Delta Force. My other son is at Bragg also 7th group SF and my DIL is PIR at Bragg too. Its nice they can hang out together. My SF son goes to Colorado next week for 2 weeks then off to Afghanistan again. My 504th son leaves for Iraq in Aug for the 3rd time. He is going to try to make it to the smokeout.
