Title: Meat Charts Link
Post by: Caribou on June 03, 2009, 02:32:52 PM
Hi Everybody!
I was looking around on the web and came across this site that has all kinds of meat charts that show where specific cuts come from.  Just click on the thumbnails and a PDF downloads.
Thought it would be nice to share.

That site is fantastic....  I've used it in the past, it's got some GREAT pages about Brisket (http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/brisketselect.html) and Butts (http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/porkbuttselect.html) for those of us (particularly outside the US) who may not be as familiar with these cuts.  It's even got this fantastic "Virtual Brisket" (http://www.virtualweberbullet.com/virtualbrisket.html) page with pics of a whole brisket from different angles! Great help when trying to describe what you want to your butcher.

Carolyn

Thanks for the reminder on that site, haven't been there for a long time.

They do have great explanations on how to do things on a lump burner.
