Title: ET-73 probe placement
Post by: okiesmoke on June 05, 2009, 02:31:16 PM
Have one smoke under my belt (WTS's ribs - UUMMM!) and just got my Bubba pucks and ET-73 from Yard & Pool.  Is there some way to place the smoker probe so you don't have to remove it every time you pull a tray out to sauce, etc.

Thanks for the help!!

Just go through the top vent and let it hang. I did this with my ET probe and now do it with my PID probe.

Thanks NPS!  By the way, on my first smoke (and probably on the seasoning) the heating element wouldn't work.  If I hadn't been reading up on this forum, I wouldn't have known about plugging-unplugging the wires.  Fortunately, it worked.  If this is such a common problem I wonder why Bradley doesn't put it in their troubleshooting tips?  Just curious.
