Title: Jan's easy salsa
Post by: KyNola on June 11, 2009, 07:09:30 PM
Our apologies to our friends in the West where you can get real salsa but In Kentucky this is a GREAT recipe for salsa in our house.

Jan's Easy Salsa

2 cans of drained Rotel tomatoes
1 can of fire roasted tomates, not drained
1 can chopped green chilies
2-3 TBLSPS of dried cilantro or comparable fresh chopped
1/2 large onion, diced
Juice of 1 whole fresh lemon
2 cloves finely minced garlic
5 dashes of Louisiana Hot Sauce or to your taste
Pepper and salt to taste

Mix all of the above in a large bowl.  Into the frig.  Best the next day.

We're just doing the best we can in KY.
