Not cigarettes and I hate it when my Cohibas get wet. I am talking meat here.
Any tips for using the BS ( already using acronyms after 2 weeks ) in the rain? I am thinking I will pick up an elbow for a wood stove from the hardware store to divert the rain from the smoker and figure out some way to shield my digital smoke generator from the drops.
I can see that there are people way more obsessed with this smoking thing here than I am. I am betting you guys have figured out all of this already. Any tips would be appreciated. I refuse to let the weather ruin a good weekend of smoking !
I keep mine in the garage with no problems. The Rolls parked in the drive now :D :D and dont let that Cohiba get wet cuz you want to burn that gar to the nub ;D

I've got a covered area on part of my patio and that works fine. Rain is no problem. Cohibas are pretty popular in this part of the world.

A few of us have our smokers on top of a tool cart and can move them around as needed. Give it some time and you will be as obsessed as we are.
Rain doesn't get in the way around here either!!

I prefer a Monte Christo #4 over a Cohiba.
Here is my outdor set-up. If it rains, I open up the awning.

What kind of venting do you do with it indoors, like a garage or a shop? I was going to put it in my shop but was not sure of a idea of smoking indoors would work out well or not?
I just leave my door open, the amount of the smoke the BS puts out is very minimal.

A couple weeks ago we had a quick storm move through and I just put my smoker under the umbrella on my patio table. But if I no its going to rain all day it's in my garage with the door open, my garage is detached.

I like your shelf you made for your PID. Very smart.
My fav cigar is Arturo Fuente 858 and Hemingway classic. I smoked a NUB brand and it was very good.

I thought about it for weeks eventually I turned to the KISS method. Next I will build a cover over the PID.
I was at the Atlantis a few weeks ago and won a whack of money. Went to the cigar store and bought a case of MC #4's.
Should have seen my poker face going through US customs on our way back to Canada. Would not have been the first time that I've been asked by a US customs agent if I have any Cuban cigars.
Don't they have more important things to look for? ::)
Thats another thread that someone else can start.
