Graduation Cake!
Small family party. If my son's friends were coming we would not be having a PINK cake :D I'm better at bread than I am at cake and today has been a challenge. I made the strawberry whipped cream frosting three times and I'm still not that excited about how it came out but it tastes good. I had a little bit of problem w the chocolate work - mainly being impatient but....... all in all I"m pretty happy.
Chocolate inside:

The top (not happy with piping, frosting too soft, piping tip too small :-[)

Girl have you lost your mind? What is not to like about that cake? It is absolutely gorgeous and your piping looks great. You should be very proud of the cake and I know you're very proud of your son.
Congrats to your son and Mom and Dad for raising a great looking young man.
KyNola
Thanks everyone. As KY says I am proud of my son. His next step is to go out and to learn how to keep the world safe. He will be majoring in Information Assurance & Security. He signed up for a 5 yr dual program and will come out with his bs & masters.
Great looking cake Debs.
It's good to hear that your son knows what direction he's taking. Congrats.
