Title: What are we smokin for the 4th?
Post by: HawkeyeSmokes on July 01, 2009, 05:34:13 PM
Hi everyone. Hope that all have lots of plans for a good time and good food with friends for the weekend. I just rubbed down a brisket using the rub that WTS uses. Sounded pretty good and as he is the brisket guru figured I couldn't go wrong. It was a small flat from Sam's but had a nice fat cap so hope it turns out good

Wish me luck with the 1st brisket.  ;D

Got all my fingers crossed and some of my toes crossed (big yellow nails get in the way of some) for ya! -  But you won't need it - you've got some good instructions to go by.  That brisket will taste mighty good on the 4th!!
