I've been reading the posts here for a few days, and am anxious to try out my new toy the FedEx guy just now wrestled onto my front porch...
Too bad Amazon shipped the smoker from Indy, but the smoker biscuits/cover are coming from out West somewhere. Oh well, I'll wait. (impatiently) Or I could make a road trip to Cabela's in St Louis and get some!
Looking forward to trying some of the recipes. I'm a Weber (gas) grill guy, so this will be an interesting experiment..

It seems to be a trend that people are getting the smoker before the bisquettes.

Lets see.... keep the vent open at least 1/4, pre-heat the smoker/smoke generator, post lots of pictures....

I know how impatient you can be as I was promised my BDS on the 15th and now I have to wait until the end of next week to get, hopefully all what I have ordered.
