What are those boxy things that are cluttering up your view?
Oh, never mind; SWMBO just told me they're some kind of motorized hotel room on wheels for people who don't live near oceans and mountains. Doesn't seem like much of a consolation prize to me, but what do I know?
We live near the Ocean, we decided to visit a Gulf.
It was a three hour drive from one coast to the other. I'm not sure you can go on a three hour drive in HI and not see the same stuff twice... :D :D
I'd like to be there for a week or so. :)
We're only here through Sunday night.
It is soooo cool having the beach less than 100 yards away.
Where on the Gulf is that and what is the name of the park/resort? I may need to go there. There are not many places on the Gulf that you can get that close to the water with an RV and most are on the inland waterway. It is a wonderful view.

Pretty much true, but it's really good "stuff."

three hours in a traffic circle makes me puke no matter how many palm trees there are ;D ;D ;D
Wildcat,
It is called the Red Coconut RV resort. It is in Fort Myers Beach.
I hear there is one in Destin that rocks, but it is $$$, the one here is $$.$
The resort web page:
http://www.redcoconut.com/
where I am google map-wise:

FWIW, it is forty paces from my MH door to the beach.
;D You are correct - just like the one in Destin, it is a little expensive. My wife and I used to go to Cape San Blas. Been a few years now but the price was more moderate. Great place to find sea shells. Thanks for the link. We may give that place a try one day if we make it that far south.
We are in the second row from the ocean. It is a little pricey, I wouldn't want to stay here for a month, but for a weekend it sure is sweet.
Great pics!
I wouldn't mind being there myself. :)
Enjoy!
Carolyn
I know that place, FL. My mom lives not to far from there in Naples. That's a pretty upper class place that sees a lot of quarter million dollar coaches! Looks like a great weekend.
There is quite a mix here right now. I expected a lot of mega coaches, but there are as many TT's (Travel trailers) and pop-ups as there are DP's (diesel pushers)
