Ok, looked at Costco, grocery stores (Lucky, Safeway) and Smart and Final.
Anyone have a guess where to find some in Norcal?
Thanks!!
I could not find it anywhere locally here either.
I ended up ordering from AlliedKenco.com
Since it is produced by a fairly large company that most grocers already purchase from, could you possibly ask the manager of your local grocery store to order it for you?
Carolyn
The selection of stuf at the grocery stores I go to isn't all that great, but they do carry MTQ...wierd.
I buy it at the grocery store or the local meat market, I live in PA.
I get it at the grocery store, its in with the salt and spices. I'm in Nebraska
It seems that if you live in an area where there is hunting and home processing of game, they have TQ.
If not....
Metro areas, PETA areas, resort areas... not so much.
I know my wife just picked me up a bag, I can't remember if she found it at Walmart or the grocery store. I live in a PETA area (People Eating Tasty Animals) FLB!!
I had no luck finding TQ at Walmart but did find it at a small local grocery store.

That's my definition for PETA too. I have family in areas that sell TQ, but not around here. LOL.
In Western Kentucky MTQ is plentiful. Local groceries, grocery chains, Walmart, farm supply stores all carry it.
As FLBR indicated earler, there is a lot of hunting and game processing in this area.
KyNola
Same here KyNola,
Any store with a good canning department usually carries it, too. Just reflects what folks do for themselves around here.
Even seen it at the local sporting goods store along with pink salt, too.
ThorJeep,
Being in the Bay Area, I wonder if you have an Albertons there?
They may have it having their roots in Idaho.
Let us know what luck you may have,
Carolyn
