Pile of peno's

All rinsed and cored

Plan of attack..Cream and cheddar cheese, taco meat, bacon and deli ham

Had to get some briskets ready to go for a friend of my daughter...all rubbed up

After 6 hours in the smoker

Back to the ABT's all assembled and into the smoker

After 3 hours in the smoker

Looks fantastic WesTex!  ;)

I'm just curious though... in the photo it looks like you used the ham to seal the end of the ABT, then wrapped with bacon to secure the ham?

If so it looks like you resolved any leakage problem by doing it that way.  8)

You nailed it Mike!  Seal the end with the deli ham, then wrap with bacon and secure with a toothpick.  Its one little extra step but you don't lose a drop of cheese!

wts them's some great looking eats, a meal in itself

I do it almost the same way (wraping the peon's) but with the begining of the bacon draped over the end then wraped with bacon
