Hey Everyone,
So I got my Bradley seasoned last night and woke up early to do my first smoke - baby back ribs! This was a trial run before I do a big batch later this weekend.
I used the 2-1-1 method:
2 hours smoke (Apple)
1 hour boated in Apple Juice
1 hour sauced
These ribs were friggin AMAZING! Couldn't have been happier with my little test run. Here are a few photos. Hope you enjoy!
Cheers,
monty
------------------------------
Rub
-i used a basic rub with the following spices:
Paprika
Salt
Onion Powder
Black Pepper
Cayenne
-i kept it light seeing how this was my first smoke. i didn't want the rub to overpower anything.

The Smoke
-left the ribs out for 1-1 1/2hrs to bring close to room temperature
-preheated to 250+, so when loading the ribs the temp would recover to optimal temp of 225
-these photos were after ~2 hours of smoking

Boating/Foil Wrapped
-after the initial 2 hours of smoke, i foil wrapped the rack and boated in about 1/4 cup of apple juice

That is gorgeous... Is that the natural lighting you are using, or was there some 'tweaking' before you posted?

no tweaking except the 1st photo in 'the finished product' section (the brightness was adjusted because the photo came out a little dark)
