Title: Smoked Cheese Fondue
Post by: Scotty-G on September 07, 2009, 05:52:51 PM
Wife said she wanted some fondue. . .
Hmmm, only cheese I had was some smoked cheddar, jack and mozzarella. . .
Melted them down with a bit of sweet white wine that was already open and a bit of fresh minced garlic and black pepper. . .

dipped in toasted slices of sourdough bread (a SF - bay area staple)

:o  WOW!  :o

That was good!  Wife loved it too.

Wanted to snap some picts but from concept to consumed was <10 min

That sounds really good.

I'll keep that in mind for our next fondue...

I have been thinking how that would turn out.

Will do it next time.

If you liked the fondue you've got to tray it with raclette too

The fondue does sound good.

3rensho;

I have a raclette grill. I haven't used it in many years, but you are right raclette and raclette dishes are great.

Now I'm going to have to dig that grill out.
