I second that..    I'd love to make some pastrami, when I get the courage to try it.

Thanks. I just made a ruben sandwich for lunch today.

Squirtthecat;

It is very easy to make. You just need some refrigerator space and time.

Thanks, I will try it soon.  I'm going to get a 'portable' Coleman refrigerator for the garage (just sits on the work bench) for experiments like this.   Having a bunch of raw meat going through various bizarre chemical reactions for days on end won't fly with the Mrs...   ;)

I know I have to figure out how to do the picture thing.
And you have to try it squirll its pretty idiot proof if I can do it.
I took about 4lbs into work today and I got half of a sandwich.

If you have a digital camera ...

  • Find a free photo hosting site.  I use photobucket.com but there are a bunch of them.
  • Size your photos to no larger than 800Wx600H if you can.
  • Upload the pics to the site.  You should then be able to paste a direct link into your posts.  Usually a link "http://..." will link to your pic but something like "(http://) will paste it in directly.  Give it a try, preview your post and try again if it isn't the way you want it.

Next time, put some away for yourself.   ;D  I haven't done pastrami yet but I'm looking forward to it.  There's so much to smoke and so little time ...
