Im not sure what western ribs are but there are many recipes (rubs etc) poseted on the net.  A great book with full descriptions is Paul Kirks Championship BBQ.  It has it all.  Anyway have a great time smoking, it's a real blast.  The Bradley is great.

Around here, Western-style ribs are simply bone-in, sliced up butt. Season them like ribs but may take a bit longer to cook due to the higher fat content. You won't be able to render the fat away like a butt because you can't cook them that long. Just cut it away before serving.

Ya think next time I check into a hotel & they ask "Smoking or Non?" they would mind?
