This is what happens when chicken goes on sale for $0.58 a pound.

I'll cut off the breasts and vac seal them individually. I usually shred the rest of the meat with a fork and vac seal to use in soups, taco's, bbq sandwiches, etc.
;D I'm probably going to go get another 10+lbs tomorrow. ;D
Happy for you at the price of chicken, but envious on the well stocked "other" tower you have.

I definitely admire the concept but would give it a much higher rating if it were filled with real beer.

Haha. I'm not taking the bait! To each his own.
Thats a good deal on the chicken, cant even raise them for that price.
I like the well stocked tower on the right, I aint picky, thats the flavor in my fridge also right along side my friend Jack.
The one on the left is going to be some good eats in about 4 hr.
All looks great. I am SO not busting you on your flavor of choice in the beer category. I dare say that if any of us showed up at your house and you said "wanna beer?" none of us would turn it down. Thumbs up on your chicken (as long as you used Jan's Rub) ;)
Looks great.

Well, as you might know, Canadian beer is SO much better than US beer (except for Samuel Adams) so if u want a higher rating on this post, put in some Canadian Beer!!
By the way, how'd the smoke go???
Gotta take advantage of a deal Royale. Those birds look great!

amen, brother
They turned out great. I've done chickens in the Bradley before but these things were unbelievably moist. They just fell apart.
Like I said I might do another 10lbs today.

Did you brine them? What kind of rub did you use?
Nice job Royale! ;)
The chicken looks awesome! :P

I did not brine them. And the rub is a kind of all purpose BBQ rub I got from Smoke & Spice by Cheryl Alters Jamison and Bill Jamison.
Nice job on them yard birds Royale.
The color and tenderness of them baby's are to die for.
Thats the same way I like to smoke chicken, but when I do a full smoker I pull out all but what I'm eating that night at 140 F and vac pak then freeze for a later date.
Simple and moist chicken.
