Title: Breakfast in the Bradley
Post by: classicrockgriller on October 05, 2009, 06:50:16 PM
Wifie has me on probation from smoking mass quanities of meat. She said I could only smoke what "I" could eat.

I'm one of those guys that like breakfast for supper once or twice a month. Tonite was the nite and I decided I
would get my smoke fix for the day.

I heated "Gabi" up to max. Hot water in the pan. Cast Iron skillet on stove to warm. when the heat came up the
skillet went in the Gabi. while everything was getting toasty, I broke 6 eggs in a bowl, stick of boudain, green onion
tops, finely diced a jalapeno, black pepper, and a splash of milk.

some breakfast sausage sprinkle with bacon salt

toast?..........why not,  w/ butter

my 65/35 deer sausage (previously smoked)

eggs, sausage (both kind) into the smoker with oak smoke, followed later by the toast

I did finish the eggs on stove top (really not sure I had to) just to be safe (less than two minutes)
I made some peppered milk gravy and added some of the Smoked Salsa Verde.

When I sat down to eat, Wifie ask where hers was and I said you told me only to smoke what "I" could eat. OK...............
I shared.   CRG

OMG, that's all for you?  ???

Now, let's talk about a low cholesterol diet ...

Yuk, never mind.

I love to mix up some leftovers (ham, beef, sausage, mushrooms, whatever) and cheese with scrambled eggs and put it all in the oven in a cast iron pan for about 15 minutes until the eggs set.  Good stuff.  ;D
