I'd say something about "dry heat" but it wouldn't make sense!

Low in the 20's tonight with an expected inch of white stuff on grassy areas by morning.  Supposed to disappear with the sunshine during the day tomorrow....then back to a high of 70+ on Monday.

In New England they say "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute."  I'm beginning to realize it's not just New England.

We're supposed to have night time lows in the low 30s next week.  I guess it's time to take the Thai peppers in.  >:(

Yeah, It's brutal here too.

I just took the two chocolates outside, I think they are going to melt!

I guess I could look at it this way - with ambient temps in the mid 90's it will take less electricity for the two pork butts I have in the OBS!

We're not going to talk about how many KWH the A/C uses...  ::)

Was trying to hold off until November 1, but turned the furnace on this morning.  Hopefully I can shut it back down for a few more days again.

I probably wouldn't have done it, but I had to wear shorts until about 1:30 when my buddy got here to re-wrap my legs.

Don't feel bad Tim I had to fire mine up this morning as well. Was 24 last night and the house got down to 58. Momma left the bedroom door open So the window I leave open kinda let some cold air in the house. I had it wide open and got chewed on a bit for that one. Didn't bother me I slept good.

My living room was down to about 54...with no windows open.  Slept great with my fuzzy blanket and a nice fuzzy kitty beside me last night.  Not sure where the other kitty was.

edit:  Right now living room is 66 and fuzzy kitty that slept by me is sleeping in front of the electric fireplace.

We cleaned out our fireplace and chimney Thursday and have had a fire in there continuously ever since.
3 years ago we purchased a wood burning insert with a blowing and it has been some of the best $ we've ever spent.
It's 16F out there this morning and toasty warm inside.
