Title: Eyeballs for Breakfast
Post by: Tenpoint5 on October 10, 2009, 10:08:21 AM
Cyclops Eyeballs

Ingredients

1 Can (16.3oz) Buttermilk Biscuits
8 Eggs
1 Tbs Ketchup

Directions

1) Heat Oven to 375* Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Lightly grease 8 (6oz) custard cups with shortening or cooking spray. Press each Biscuit in bottom and up sides of each custard cup, rolling edges to form rim. Break 1 egg into each cup. Place cups on large cookie sheet with sides.

2) Bake 18-22 minutes or until biscuit is golden brown and egg is cooked through. Spoon ketchup into a ziploc bag and cut a small hole in the corner of the bag. Squeeze ketchup onto each egg to make it look like a bloodshot eye. Serve warm.

***Note***
We used a muffin tin instead of custard cups and we also used regular biscuits instead of grands.
My Eyeballs had Chinese hot chili sauce on them

These where great. All eight of them where gone in about 5 minutes. Thought you guys would enjoy them as well. CRG if you have an oven at the deer camp these would go great for the guys, especially with the hot sauce on them.

Those eyeballs look like fun.

Did the yard apes help ?

Hot sauce on eggs is the only way to go, even my daughter likes it that way

Hey 10.5!
We made the eyeballs this morning for the family and our house guest.
They were a BIG hit and we will definitely being doing these again!
I put green Tabasco on mine.

Thanks guys!
Yes,
That is the work of Chef Emma  :D
Our house guest just bought a Bradley, I turned him onto that short lived $199 deal.
We're doing 10.5 ribs tomorrow and Kummock's salmon later in the week.
I'll post pics!
