This will ignore the members PM Messages as well as posts on the boards.
PS Chris I am not Ignoring you Just used you for an example. ;D ;D
Thanks Brian
Great Idea Brian after this past week.
PS. You wouldn't be the first one. My wife does it all the time!!!
Thanks Brian!
I would have never thought about using a feature like this until very recently.
If you know what I mean.
Carolyn
Thanks Brian, that's a great addition!
Great idea Brian and thanks for the addition of brushing some one off. I just hated the fact that you used 10.5 as an example when you had a wide selection to choose from like Big Stick or pellicle Pete and God only knows who else will pop up from the woodworks.

You left out Olds... ::)
There is a down side to this type of list. You can be in the middle of a thread and all of a sudden it takes a left turn in nature and you don't know why.
This goes hand in hand as to why I don't read PMs. Someone has something to say to me then say it in public. Banning someone's posting only narrows a reader's understanding.
Your call. Beside, Sir Brian seems to be quite capable of removing a "bad" member. That is why he gets the big bucks~~! ;D

What happens if you chose to ignore yourself. Do you really exist.
Brad
ROFLMAO you still have a darn good sense of haha Car54.
I am of the opion that you can put a lock on a door but if a thief wants to get it, he will bust down the door

On the other hand, if you don't know who you are you can ingnore him and at least you won't be talking to yourself.
Nice option Brian. Thanks.

Another nice option would be to have a friends list or frequent messaging list in the my messages section so you don't have to search the name everytime you want to PM someone. or do they have it and I missed it.

Hi Quarlow
I just enabled the option of a Buddy List
You will find it under your
Profile /
Edit Buddies(http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f171/1smokie43/Misc%20Pictures/BuddyList.jpg)
This does not show up in the Message Tab but you can use this to send a PM by clicking on the name you have entered
then select send a PM to this person.
Brian
Thanks Brian that is a good option.
You're the man.
HR
So the title of the thread promises two (2) new options and I only see one. I must have "ignored" whoever posted the second option even before they had a chance to post it.

This is the second option Ka Honu. First one was the ignore member option. Sure hope you didn't ignore Brian! ;D
Aha! I think I found out the cause of my confusion - the original thread subject only announced one new option but Brian slyly changed it when he added the second. Got to watch them Canadians every minute!
Thanks Brian. Good option. I wouldn't rule anyone out of my posts do to a "friends" list. There's always a lot of new people here and I like to here from them.
I've been in forums for a number of years. I try to be helpful and decent. But, there's always some idiot that shows up ...
Thanks Brian, it's not that I would choose to not want to talk to all the other people, but one day I was pm'ing with 3 different people about some stuff I was going to send them and every time I had another person to message I had to search that person and then we could reply back and forth. And there will always be a few people that you will pm more often so it is just easier to have a small list of frequents.

Now that is metaphysical! or is it fuzzy logic? Or could it be a tautology?
