Title: Poultry Cutter
Post by: Oldman on February 28, 2005, 06:29:57 AM
Wow, I have not use one of these in 24 years. This one has a guard on it. Ours did not~~! At one time I could cut 200 chickens into 8 piece under 60 minutes. That is 1,600 cuts under an hour. However, there was a girl in the mid-west who was cutting 200 birds under 45 minutes--unbelieveable! As I look back I think we were both crazy. The company we worked for then was Church's Fried Chicken. We cut our own bird in those days.

olds,
I wonder how many fingers were left behind by careless butchers with those things. I know of a few that Band Saws have gotten & one that went to a sausage grinder..[:(] Bill

If you can eat it, you can smoke it.

I think The Guinness World Book of Records lists Stanley "No-Thumbs" Kowalski as the record holder at 400 birds per hour. It is noted though, he only achieved this once and has since retired to California where he stomps grapes.[:D][:D][:D]
