The color of that butt is simply beautiful! I have not tried a but in the Traeger, how many hours at what temp and how many pounds of pellets do you think it takes.

The butt was in for around 10.5 hours and the temp i had set at 225* for the entire smoke. Prob used about 6 pounds of pellets. I did not foil, boat or FTC the butt. It was basted 2 times while smoking with CT.

I think I remember in a different post about your big butt that it was around 17 pounds.  I am surprised that dude was finished in around 10.5 hours.

Looks great no matter how long it took.  Love my butt on a Traeger.

Just what the heck are 10.5 hours??? Are they different than everyone Else's??? I always thought there was 60 minutes in an hour have I been wrong all these years??

You know, I never thought about using bear claws for tearing up a butt.  I suspected they had a use other than rabbit food.   ;D :)

Never thought I'd say this to another man, but....nice butt!   :)
