Title: Rain -- unreal
Post by: Oldman on November 11, 2009, 03:26:43 AM
It rain last night for about 45 minutes. It rained so much, so hard that it filled my wheelbarrow a little over 1/2 way.

No real wind, no lighting either.

It didn't make it over here.

I've seen my weather station record rain rates of up to 7 inches per hour.

We have a 60% chance of rain this morning.

Our group is singing the National Anthem at Boca Raton Memorial cemetery this morning.

It rained on Memorial day too...

Storm came ashore about 30 - 45 miles West of and traveled right over us. We have had worse storms in this area generated by simple cold fronts. We got about 3 to 5 inches total and a little wind.

Picture this - the old western movies where the guys are out in the desert with dirt all over their faces, hands around their throats, moaning WATER, WATER, WATER. Send that stuff my way!
