Fussybear is good too! :D
Going out in the morning to fill my first tag,a mule deer to use in all my sausage and jerky. Will go later for my whitetail and did not get drawn for moose this year. Next year for sure. Piker
Help a Buck shoot the doe!! Can't eat antlers anyhow! Good Luck boy's
My season ends Thursday - no luck so far - a few does but bucky is hiding out and skitterish - my season also ends before the rut dang it.
We've had the two worst snow years in Spokane's history these past two winters and the Fish and Game department mucked with modern firearm season. Out of season, the whitetails are like rats in New York up here but I can't make a meal out of em', no sir!
Can't even draw a doe tag!

I told her to take the pict to school and show all the boys what she got this year but she says that they all know that she dont hunt. I said SO.
I have been trying to get her out huntin for years know but she is afraid of the big boom stick. One of her friends went out this year, maybe this will get her out next year. I have a 30/30 that would work perfect for her.

Deer or no deer your camp would be a good time.
How much time do you have left to get your wall hanger?
Great Pics! My season went bust on me - couldn't get off work soon enough to hunt before dark - we can't hunt 10 minutes before sunset, no spotlights. So, I'm "saving" my tag! (seriously though, no refunds on the tag - maybe next year, to use an old Indian word - "vegetarian" - means bad hunt!

"vegetarian" :D Good one
We cant use spotlights here eather, we cant even have them in the truck if we have a weapon. I got my deer at 4:30 PM and it gets dark at 5:30. So by the time I walked back to my truck, got someone to help me get him loaded and got home it was dark. Aint nothing better than gutting a deer in the dark thats why I took it home and gutted him in the driveunder a spotlight, I have a big tote that I drop every thing in.
Off topic, but what kind of car is in your shed OU? Looks like an old Chevelle..

Very nice OU that helps to fill the freezer. My uncle just gave me 5 pounds of ground Buffalo and a Buf shoulder roast. I thinking of trying some ground buffalo jerky ala the freeze and slice method.

OU, A young boy that worked for me and went to school for game management now works for a ranch in south texas.
He called last nite and said his dad was coming up to hunt and wondered if i could run a cpl cooler over to his father before he left this morning.
He said i want to sent you an axis deer, black buck and a whitetail doe.
I was there before his dad got to work.
I feel like freepas.
3 deer and no shots fired. ;D

Now you got a place to hang your hat.
I like european mounts, esp the price.
But the way, I got three front shoulders, three hindquarters of whitetail
and two big bags of boneless Axis. Sweet!
Sweet, nice score, FreeCRG. ;D
You must have a bunch of three legged deer running around there.
I havent had Axis before is it like Deer or more like Elk or am I even close?
Good job!
That lad must have been a scrapper to break off both G1's
Nice looking meat ya got there OU. You make me very envious.

Not only were the G1's broke off he had a major cut from mid way back on his upper lip up to just behind his nose and one tooth ripped out where the cut started and a nice wound just behind his head on the same side.
Man I would like to see the Buck he was scraping with that did all that damage.

I thought all those deer on your stringer were white tails.
Didn't take pictures of this year kill. Forgot camera. >:(
That photo could have been 2 hunts ago.
Man O Man the deer were movin in herds this weekend, couldnt get any pictures but got one of Taby doin some glassin. She counted 105 in one herd across the section, we were standin on the east end of my property.
Then we went drivin around and found some more. The next herd was 20 then the next 60 then some stragglers here and there.
We had fun, the wife thought we were nuts.
NUTS!!!
We do that all the time!
We call that scouting!
;D
